The 34-hour rally will go on even if police obtain a restriction order to stop key organisers from being present in the vicinity of Dataran Merdeka, said a Bersih steering committee member.
New Sin Yew said the peaceful gathering was not about Bersih but to communicate to the government the legitimate grievances of the people.
